Last year, in response to a clear gap faced by our software customers, Chaser launched an outsourced credit control service. As well as managing the Chaser application on behalf of customers, Chaser’s team of credit controllers oversee all the chasing and responding to debtor-related enquiries acting as a natural extension to their team.

It proved a hit, with 25 customers now using us as their outsourced credit control function! Since launching 7 months ago, there has not been a single customer churn.

We have huge growth aspirations and are now looking for an ambitious person to join our team to help scale this new line of business. The role is targeted towards an individual who can show results, but also show the aptitude to help the team scale over time.

 


 

Role description

 

Reporting into the CRO, you will take ownership of a new service line that has grown quickly and shown to be valuable to Chaser’s customers. You’ll be supported by a team who have been there and done it, but it will be for you to find new customers and determine a strategic path for the growth of this service line.

As an Account Executive - Outsourced Services, you will:

  • Prospect new accounts from scratch.
  • Use your experience in previous roles, to unearth new opportunities.
  • Target onboarding 4 new customers per month.
  • Have a penchant for picking up the phone and nurturing relationships.
  • Have a bias for action and getting things done.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Product teams as the voice of our customers, sharing feedback and insights to help shape our roadmap.
  • Work closely with partners, who could potentially act as a good source of referrals.
  • Get comfortable with our value proposition, and be able to articulate it confidently.
  • Deliver regular webinars to potential customers interested in outsourcing.
  • Become an expert and thought leader in outsourcing, becoming a go to resource in the industry.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • 3+ years of sales experience in a start up / high growth environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in using HubSpot CRM to track customer engagements is an asset.
  • Charismatic, driven and results-driven.
  • You are passionate about helping businesses succeed. 
  • You take initiative and enjoy proactively solving problems.
  • Highly personable, you have the ability to generate excitement and motivation in customers.
  • You have strong commercial acumen, spotting growth opportunities and taking the initiative to act on them.
  • Your verbal and written communication skills are second-to-none.
  • You are digitally proficient and able to understand the software and its potential. 
  • You have exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye and complete all tasks to the highest standard.


You have an entrepreneurial and empathetic mindset that propels you to commit to delving deep into the user experience, the challenges they face and how to improve the experience. You'll also come with strong collaboration skills, and the ability to document proper requirements for short-term and long-term projects.
